Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some Steps I've tried before running Windows update: The error code that I'm returned is apparently not uncommon, and I've tried to follow various suggested fixes over the past few months, but to no avail. I have of course tried to fix the problem myself, but unfortunately nothing I've tried has worked. It usually fails and returns the message "Something went wrong - error code 0x8007007e"
I'm unable to update from Windows to 1903 - the auto update feature has been failing for months now.
